RANCHO CORDOVA, Sacramento County — Rancho Cordova’s August 28, 2026 Public Works update identified ongoing roadway improvements in the Stone Creek and South White Rock neighborhoods, including pavement repairs and surface treatments.
The city said the work would also update pavement striping, bicycle lane markings and other safety features. Its report identified progress on Mather Field Road enhancements near Highway 50 and on rehabilitation in the Countryside neighborhood. Different roads are at different stages, so the update should not be read as proof every project has finished.
What residents should check
Review the city’s current Public Works project page before planning a route through a construction area. Look for posted restrictions and notices about temporary driveway or parking access. The city says the purpose of these projects is to extend the life of the streets while improving safety.
